Shibuya Sensei has taught meditation in Japan, India, and the US, after an adventurous youth spent desperately searching for true meditation.

He is the author of several published and many unpublished works including:

  • Recent short writings: Tathagata (4/07), Breathing Buddha (4/07), Dharma Eye (4/07), Our Life (3/07), Nature Buddha (9/06), Muga(8/06)
  • WAKEFUL: his meditation textbook, which expresses the basic Theravada understanding in practical terms based on his personal experience. This excerpt described the initial confrontational stage of practice.
  • Dissolution of Pain, 1st edition published ~1990, revisions in 2005/6 unpublished
  • Celestial Meditations, unpublished
